A group of eccentric parapsychologists founds a paranormal investigation and elimination service in New York City. When ghosts and other supernatural beings start to invade the city, the Ghostbusters must use their unique expertise and gadgets to stop them. Armed with proton packs and ghost traps, the Ghostbusters battle ghosts, demons, and other paranormal threats, protecting the city and its citizens from the forces of the unknown.

Synopsis

Ghostbusters is a 1984 American supernatural comedy film directed and co-written by Ivan Reitman. The screenplay was written by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis, who also co-starred in the film along with Bill Murray, Ernie Hudson, and Sigourney Weaver. The film follows the adventures of three eccentric parapsychologists who start a ghost-catching business in New York City.

After their university suspends their research program, Peter Venkman, Raymond Stantz, and Egon Spengler decide to form their own ghost-hunting business. They name their company Ghostbusters and begin to investigate paranormal activity in the city. Their first major case involves a possessed woman named Dana Barrett, who is being haunted by a demonic entity.

The Ghostbusters soon find themselves in over their heads as they battle against a horde of ghosts and demons. They must use all of their wit and ingenuity to defeat their supernatural foes and save New York City from destruction.
